At Vicki Head Photography Ltd, inclusion is not a marketing phrase. Instead, it shapes how I work and how I show up.
Because visibility can feel vulnerable, and as a result, I believe everyone deserves to feel seen, respected, valued, and represented.
My Commitment

Importantly, your identity is respected, and your comfort and dignity remain a priority at every stage.
How I Make My Photography Inclusive
1. Respect, empathy, and care
I create a calm, supportive environment so clients feel relaxed, safe, and genuinely seen. As a result, people can show up as themselves without pressure or performance.
2. Adjustments and accommodations
Where possible, I adapt shoots to meet individual needs. For example, I can support:
mobility requirements
sensory considerations (such as lighting or sound)
processing time and pacing
anxiety or discomfort around being photographed
neurodivergent-friendly communication
flexible timing or regular breaks
In practice, if you have specific access needs, please let me know in advance. I will always listen first and, therefore, do my best to accommodate within reasonable and practical limits.
3. Trauma-informed approach
Photography can feel exposing. For this reason, I work gently and collaboratively, never rushing or forcing clients beyond what feels safe. As such, you remain in control at all times.
4. Representation with integrity
Equally, I actively aim to represent a wide range of identities, experiences, and bodies in my work, provided I have consent. Consequently, I avoid exclusionary or stereotyped imagery and focus instead on authenticity and individuality.
5. Consent at every stage
You always control:
what we photograph
how I guide or direct you
your boundaries
whether I use your images for marketing
Consent is never assumed. Furthermore, you can change or withdraw it at any time.
Accessibility
Accessibility is a priority, and so please discuss with me if you need adjustments relating to:
location access
mobility
lighting or sensory conditions
fatigue, pacing, or timing
communication style
So that we can prepare properly, please contact me before your session. This allows us to plan ahead, consider any requirements and create the best possible experience.
A Safe and Welcoming Space
Discrimination, harassment, or hate has no place in my business. Therefore, any behaviour that undermines safety, dignity, or inclusion may result in services being declined or ended.
At the same time, I remain committed to learning, listening, and continually improving how I support the people I work with.
